What areas do you serve?

Harris Home Health serves families across Georgia. Our office is in Acworth, and we regularly support clients throughout Cobb County, Cherokee County, and the greater Atlanta area. Call 770-765-5122 to confirm coverage in your community.

Do you provide free consultations?

Yes. Every family starts with a free, no-obligation care consultation where we review needs, schedule, home environment, and preferences before recommending a care plan.

Are caregivers background checked?

Yes. Every caregiver completes a background check and reference verification before being assigned to a client.

What services do you provide?

We provide non-medical home care: companion care, personal care assistance, respite care, Alzheimer's and dementia support, hospital-to-home recovery support, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

What are your minimum visit requirements?

A minimum 5-hour care package is required. Single-hour visits are not available.

How does pricing work?

Care is billed hourly, starting at $45 for Essential Care, $58 for Enhanced Care, and $72 for Premier Care. Bookings of 5–24 hours receive a 10% discount and bookings of 25+ hours receive a 25% discount. Final rates are confirmed after your consultation.

How quickly can care begin?

In many cases care can begin within 24 to 48 hours of the consultation, depending on caregiver availability and the level of support needed.

Do you offer 24/7 care?

Yes. We schedule days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays based on caregiver availability and the client's assessed needs.

Minimum 5-hour care package required. Single-hour visits are not available.

What ages do you serve?

Pediatric eligibility is determined through an assessment of the child's age, needs, requested services, caregiver availability, and the services Harris Home Health is currently authorized and equipped to provide.

Do you provide respite care?

Yes. Respite care gives parents and legal guardians dependable support while they rest, work, attend appointments, care for other family members, or handle personal responsibilities.

Can you care for children with autism or developmental disabilities?

We may provide personalized assistance to children with autism, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and other special healthcare needs when their requested care is within our approved service scope and staffing capabilities.

Do you provide pediatric nursing?

Skilled pediatric nursing may be available when the service is supported by appropriate medical orders, authorization, qualified nursing staff, and RN clinical oversight.

Do you accept Medicaid or GAPP?

Please contact Harris Home Health to discuss current payment options and program availability.

Do you provide transportation?

No. Harris Home Health does not provide transportation services.

How is my child's care planned?

Before services begin, Harris Home Health works with the parent or legal guardian to assess the child's needs and create an individualized service plan. The plan identifies approved tasks, routines, precautions, goals, scheduling, emergency instructions, and communication expectations.
